Our Purpose
Our Vision
To become a leading educational and skills-development organization in Africa, empowering individuals with quality education, digital literacy, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial competencies for sustainable growth and national development.
Our Mission
To provide accessible, innovative, and high-quality educational services that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills through training, mentorship, technology-driven learning, vocational education, research support, and career development programs that prepare learners for success in the 21st-century economy.
Our Story
Bridging Africa's Skills Gap - One Student at a Time
Founded by Uchechukwu Francis, WOKES was built on a single urgent truth: Nigeria and Africa's curriculum is failing its youth. Over 90% of graduates remain unemployed - not for lack of intelligence, but for lack of relevant skills. WOKES changes that by training young Africans in modern technical, vocational, and IT disciplines the job market actually demands.
Uchechukwu Francis
Founder & Director
"The educational system does not put food on the table. We intend to change that - one skilled young African at a time."
Three Values. One Mission.
Excellence
Every training outcome is measured. Every facilitator is evaluated. Every student deserves world-class instruction and nothing less.
Creativity
Learning should be surprising and alive. We design curricula that engage curiosity and rewire how students think about their futures.
Innovation
We bring industry into the classroom, connect students to global opportunities, and relentlessly update our methods for a changing world.
